Airwallex Bill Pay provides customers with a single place to easily collect, approve, and pay vendor invoices, all while syncing into their accounting system for faster reconciliation. This team helps scale our Bill Pay product to meet the growing demands of data and feature complexity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work closely with product managers and key stakeholders to define product roadmap, prioritize projects, and ship incrementally to production.
  • Deliver complex features, including breaking down requirements, providing accurate time estimates, and actively engaging in team planning and discussions.
  • Support the engineering team on architecture evolution, quality improvement, and engineering risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational excellence and delightful user experience.

**Requirements:**

  • Mastery of backend technologies, with a strong focus on Kotlin and SpringBoot.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with a track record of product thinking.
  • Strong aptitude for system thinking, writing high-quality code, and documentation.
  • Engaged with cloud technologies such as GCP/AWS.
  • Demonstrated history of using a wide range of appropriate testing practices.
  • API design best practices.
  • Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of individuals, bridging gaps between different teams and areas of expertise.
