The Engineering Team

Airwallex Bill Pay

Airwallex Bill Pay provides customers with a single place to easily collect, approve, and pay vendor invoices, all while syncing into their accounting system for faster reconciliation. As a key part of Airwallex's Business Account suite, this team helps scale our Bill Pay product to meet the growing demands of data and feature complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering complex frontend features with React and TypeScript, including requirements breakdown, time estimation, and active participation in team planning and discussions.
  • Building micro FE web applications with domain-based design architecture.
  • Working closely with product managers and key stakeholders to define product roadmap, prioritize projects, and ship incrementally to production.
  • Leveraging Apollo GraphQL as the backend for frontend (BFF) to build scalable and high-performance node services with simple and contact-based integration with backend.
  • Cooperating with the design team to build a design system with common components.
  • Actively engaging with our Frontend Guild, researching cutting-edge technologies, and driving initiatives to build high-quality products and clean up technical debt.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for operational excellence and a delightful user experience.

Requirements

  • Mastery of modern frontend web technologies.
  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with a track record of product thinking.
  • Strong aptitude for system thinking, writing high-quality code, and documentation.
  • Demonstrated history of using a wide range of appropriate testing practices.
  • Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of individuals, bridging gaps between different teams and areas of expertise.
