Job Title: Strategic Service Planner

This is a strategic role that requires a strong understanding of service planning at both strategic and operational levels within the local government sector.

The successful candidate will work across the whole organisation, playing a key role in developing new approaches to service management.

  • Develop strategies for service planning, delivery, review, improvement, design, and business analytics.
  • Analyse complex information to evaluate Council services and recommend innovative options.
  • Provide expert guidance through research and analysis to ensure Council services meet current and future community needs.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A thorough working knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft 365 suite, PowerApps, and PowerBI.
  • Well-developed business acumen, financial, and conceptual skills to simplify complex ideas for diverse stakeholders.
  • Skills in managing time, setting priorities, planning, and organising work efficiently with available resources.
