Category Management Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance for an experienced professional to excel in category management, leveraging expertise in beauty products and suppliers.

Lotte Duty Free operates as a leading retailer with stores worldwide, offering luxury beauty products from renowned brands.

As part of a dynamic team under the General Manager of Brisbane, you will contribute to a growth journey driven by strong values and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop category strategies and action plans for assigned customers using category management principles to improve sales results and meet customer objectives.
  • Analyse sales data to drive Beauty Advisor sales on the floor, communicating areas of development opportunities to the Buyer (Beauty).
  • Stay informed about sales trends and forecasts while maintaining focus on business growth, creating opportunities, and maximizing sales potential.
  • Assist in identifying, planning, and scheduling training requirements for Beauty Advisors and ensure full attendance.
  • Provide regular feedback to Sales Managers and Beauty Advisors on sales targets and performance, reinforcing selling skills and customer service programming.
  • Ensure timely execution of product launches and promotions, interacting effectively with beauty brands and the Support Office team.
  • Manage Beauty Advisors, ensuring they adhere to grooming and presentation standards at all times.
  • Achieve daily and weekly sales and GP$ targets.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by team members.

Please note that this role includes some weekend work due to the nature of our business.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in retail and/or duty-free operations with beauty experience.
  • Demonstrable experience managing staff, including coaching and developing staff.
  • High level of administration skills and Microsoft Word and Excel at intermediate level.
  • Successful track record in making and creating sales, consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Expert product knowledge of beauty houses and other cosmetics and fragrance suppliers.
  • Exceptional sense of customer focus and customer service delivery.
  • Ability to work well and effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • High level of negotiation and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Very high level of attention to detail.
  • Immaculate presentation.
