Role Overview

The Company is seeking a skilled Policy Advisor to support the development and implementation of government policies. As a Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing information to produce evidence-based options, developing and analysing policies, establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, and ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong policy analysis focus and experience in reviewing policies and procedures. If you are an exceptional communicator with a passion for policy development, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyse information to produce evidence-based options.
  • Develop and analyse policies guiding the design, implementation and modification of government and commercial operations and programs.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and quality requirements.
  • Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision making.
  • Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging issues.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Government Policy role.
  • Knowledge of the machinery of Government, including Cabinet and legislative processes.
  • Experience in reviewing policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
