Linux System Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Linux Administrator to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. This role will involve administering and maintaining our Linux infrastructure, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Red Hat Linux systems, including installation, patching, and upgrading.
- Implement and maintain system security, including firewalls, access control, and authentication.
- Develop and deploy Ansible playbooks for automation and configuration management.
- Maintain and optimize system performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration, with a focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Expert-level knowledge of Ansible, including playbooks, modules, and workflow.
- Strong understanding of system security, including firewall rules, access control, and authentication mechanisms.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
