Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Lead

This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, quality assurance, and delivery. The successful candidate will translate complex business goals into clear documentation and ensure robust testing practices.

The Business Analysis and Quality Assurance Lead will work directly with senior leaders to bridge strategy and execution across mobile and web app projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Documentation & Analysis: Create BRDs, PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that meet business needs.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical documentation for cross-functional teams.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensure requirements traceability and minimise scope creep across all projects.
  • Quality Assurance & Testing: Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Execute manual testing across mobile devices and web platforms to ensure market-ready quality.
  • Set up and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Jest).
  • Coordinate and document UAT processes and ensure defect resolution tracking.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Product Strategy, Engineering, and Insights teams.
  • Facilitate handovers, resolve requirement gaps, and ensure aligned delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years' experience in business analysis and quality assurance roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Expertise in manual testing methodologies and defect management.
  • Track record of reducing post-launch defects and improving development velocity through quality processes.
  • Proven experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with testing tools and project management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern development practices.
  • Experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Comfortable working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A process improvement mindset with a passion for quality and clarity.
  • Experience in digital agency or high-growth tech environment preferred.
