A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support a major transformation program by bridging business needs with technical solutions and driving delivery excellence.
The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will be engaged on an initial 12-month contract, with the option for a 12-month extension, and flexible hybrid work arrangements based in Sydney or Melbourne.
The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to: Analysing and translating business needs into meaningful technical requirements, including business, functional, and non-functional specifications.
Collaborating with business SMEs and IT teams to deliver effective technology solutions that improve business processes.
Leading workshops and stakeholder discussions to elicit and document requirements using Agile delivery methodology and user stories.
Creating user interface designs in line with User Centric Design (UCD) and Australian Government accessibility standards.
The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will have experience in the following: Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodology.
Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management using industry-standard tools.
Strong skills in process modelling (BPMN), data analysis, and solution assessment.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities within complex IT environments.
