**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Process Modeller to join our team. As a Process Modeller, you will be responsible for capturing, analysing, re-designing and publishing processes to help mature our Business Management System (BMS). About the Role

The Chief Information Officer Group within the Department of Defence is looking for a highly motivated individual who has a passion for process improvement. As a Process Modeller, you will work in small teams to capture, analyse and re-design processes. You will also be responsible for capturing and representing other supporting data and information, including systems, roles, accountabilities, strategic objectives and policies. Your efforts will help to mature the CIOG BMS to a point where it represents an organisational Digital Twin, enabling the identification of opportunities for improvement and tangible benefits realisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, analyse and re-design processes to improve business outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to identify and prioritise projects.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of a Digital Twin to support business decision-making.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Analysis or Process Modelling.
  • Experience in process capture, analysis and redesign.
  • An understanding of how investment in a BMS can be used to create value and how to realise and measure the value.
  • An ability to plan your work in support of realising strategic goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High level communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
  • The ability to turn ideas into action and outcomes.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a growth mindset.
