Technical Business Analyst Job Description

A technical business analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing business processes and solutions to support the delivery of a payments platform in line with an agency's technology strategy and architecture principles.

The successful candidate will work closely with solution designers and functional consultants to develop end-to-end solution designs aligned with business needs. They must possess excellent collaboration skills, as they will be working with various stakeholders, including business teams and technical experts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technology consultancy.
  • Map end-to-end processes while consulting with the business and tech side to support the program of work, including gathering business requirements, assessment, and options analysis.
  • Work with Solution Designers and Functional Consultants to develop End to End solution designs in line with business requirements.
  • Define data and process requirements to meet business needs.
  • Represent Salesforce Business Architecture in organisation-wide strategic programs.
  • Model both current and future states of the business, engaging with relevant areas to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Apply systems-thinking approach to visualise and communicate end-to-end processes, dependencies, and interactions in a platform-agnostic manner.
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure business outcomes are aligned and successfully delivered.
