Supply Chain Professional

This role involves overseeing the MRO supply chain life cycle, focusing on direct supply channels from domestic and international markets.

The professional will work closely with the Category Manager to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage category supply and contract management across Asset Maintenance, Construction and Major Works
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder and vendor relationships
  • Source goods and services at optimal price/value/quality/time from reputable suppliers
  • Contribute to the development of best practice systems for the supply chain including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, courier management, inventory management, reporting, shipment tracking visibility and KPIs
  • Undertake market research, competitor assessments, market and technology trends analysis
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling for tender documentation, post-tender analysis, logistics costs, and other cost/volume modeling as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or commerce an advantage
  • Experience in supply chain management across multiple categories of spend with a focus on Maintenance, Repairs and Operations
  • Previous experience in corporate environments dealing with complex organizational structures
  • Experience in the hospitality or facilities management industry particularly in remote locations beneficial
