Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Maintenance, Repairs and Operations

Role Overview

This role involves identifying and leveraging direct supply channels from domestic and international markets to assist in managing the MRO supply chain life cycle.

The position is a Monday to Friday office-based role with 2 days/week working from home arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Categorise and manage procurement of goods and services for Asset Maintenance, Construction and Major Works
  • Establish and maintain relationships with individual stakeholders and vendors; conduct site visits as required
  • Source 'fit for purpose' goods and services at the right price/value/quality/time from reputable suppliers
  • Assist in developing best practice systems for the supply chain, including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, courier management, inventory management, reporting and KPI tracking
  • Conduct market research, competitor assessments and stay up-to-date with market and technology trends
  • Analyse financial data and models for tender documentation, post-tender analysis and logistics costs
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or commerce preferred but not essential
Experience
  • Proven experience in supply chain management across multiple categories with a focus on Maintenance, Repairs and Operations
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment dealing with complex organisational structures
  • Background in hospitality or facilities management, particularly in remote locations an advantage
