About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Senior Consulting Manager. In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support to our management team and their subsequent team members.

As a key leader in our consulting services, you will assist the sales team with activities such as oral presentations, estimations, and Statements of Work.

You will work closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and leads, acting as a liaison between our consulting team and executive management.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee projects across the practice, ensuring successful outcomes and high customer satisfaction levels.

  • Oversight responsibility for projects across the practice.
  • Oversee and assist Engagement Managers and team members when needed to identify project needs, reduce risk and develop solutions and strategies.
  • Support the RFP response and pursuit process for consulting work.
  • Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications.
  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the organization; build consensus and achieve goals through influence.
  • Mentor and coach team members.
  • Analyze team skills and provide for cross training to maintain teams' ability to staff projects appropriately.
  • Establish direct reports' goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process.
  • Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon completion of project for your entire team.

Key qualifications for this role include:

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of Workday (or other ERP) consulting implementation experience.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven experience leading a virtual team.
  • Fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast-paced work environments.
  • Ability to work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.
  • Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects.
