Overview of Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on delivering high standards in risk management, compliance, and internal audit activities, with a commitment to legal, regulatory, and quality assurance across all business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Provide valuable advice to integrate risk management across the organisation, foster a culture of open dialogue on risks, and deliver insights that influence decision-making.
  • Audit Coordination: Lead the coordination of internal audit services, liaise with audit service providers and support assurance activities which align with the Strategic Internal Audit Program and ISO requirements.
  • Compliance Management: Advise on the impact of legislative changes, manage the compliance software and system, and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Insurance & Governance Support: Assist with insurance claims and policy renewals, and handle internal policy document management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Tertiary qualification in business, law, governance, audit, or compliance, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 3+ years in risk management, governance, or audit, with strong skills in interpreting legislation and managing compliance in a complex regulatory environment.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated experience in audit and compliance management, analytical skills, and report preparation.
