OverviewJoin to apply for the Senior Advisor, Aviation Governance role at Melbourne Airport.Unique opportunity to contribute to governance, stakeholder accountability, and performance across critical airside operations and systems, shaping the safety and efficiency of Melbourne Airport's aviation environment.Key responsibilitiesManaging access licensing for airside operations to ensure all personnel, vehicles and equipment meet compliance standardsOverseeing aviation systems such as the airside driver and vehicle control management system, ensuring performance, data integrity and user experienceMonitoring and improving aircraft turnaround processes through data-driven insightsDriving stakeholder collaboration across ground handlers, airlines, and internal teams to deliver safe and efficient operationsLeading reporting and analysis of operational performance, identifying opportunities for improvementManaging SaaS vendor relationships and ensuring systems meet current and future business needsThe successful candidate will haveProven experience in developing and leading licensing or access agreements in a high-risk, customer-focused operational environmentIn-depth knowledge of Aviation Operations, ground handling and turnaround activitiesICAM Lead InvestigatorIATA Ground Operations (highly desirable)Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations, ICAO Annexes and IATA IGOMExperience in Aviation Safety Management Systems and incident investigationsStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills within complex operational settingsAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive process improvementsProficiency in report writing, performance monitoring and continuous improvement programsAbout the CompanyMelbourne Airport (Australia Pacific Airports Corporation) is one of Australia's premier transport hubs and Victoria's gateway to the world, connecting to the global marketplace.
