The Orthopaedic Unit - our specialised ward focused on musculoskeletal care, including hip and knee replacements, ligament repairs, and fracture management. We work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centred care and strong clinical outcomes.

  • Your Role

    You will be working in a 40-bed surgical unit, making a real impact in dynamic and busy environments. With guidance from senior RNs, a Clinical Nurse Educator, and a hands-on Nurse Manager, you'll be set up for success in an environment that fosters learning, collaboration, and professional growth.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in acute care; orthopaedic background highly regarded
  • Strong emotional intelligence and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including day, evening, and night shifts
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and perform well under pressure
  • Current registration with AHPRA and full Australian working rights required
