Software Developer - Core Trading Technology

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our core trading technology team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications that support our trading environment.

You will work closely with traders, researchers, and other technology teams to analyze requirements, implement, and maintain software covering almost all aspects of the trading environment. Your primary focus will be on the analysis, design, and development of business-critical applications.

Responsibilities include taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release. You should be committed to innovation, have a strong interest in learning and working with new technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the capability of the core trading technology team and applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline
  • 5+ years of C# experience in server-side systems (ideally with multi-threading) as well as client side development
  • Previous WPF experience is an advantage
  • Understanding of web technologies, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Previous experience with ReactJS and TypeScript is an advantage
  • Previous experience running and deploying .NET Core applications on Linux is an advantage
