About this role, we're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions.

Job Overview

Moshtix is a leading ticketing platform in Australia and New Zealand. As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and shipping features at pace, collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers globally.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Feature Development: Design and develop new features using NextJS, React, REST, and GraphQL.
  • Architecture and Service Development: Contribute to architecture and service-driven development, building scalable microservices with Go, Node, Kafka.
  • Lift and Shift: Modernise legacy systems with high-performing replacements.
  • Observability and Performance: Champion observability, testing, and performance best practices across engineering teams.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Prioritise collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Key Skills and Experience:
  • Software Engineering Expertise: 5+ years in software engineering, ideally across full-stack environments.
  • Modern Tech Stacks: Experience in modern tech stacks including NextJS, Node, TypeScript, GraphQL, Go, or Kafka.
  • Scalable Architectures: Strong knowledge of scalable architectures and distributed systems.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Pioneering Mindset: A pioneering mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
