
Leading Learning and Capability Specialist

The Assistant Director Learning and Capability will lead the development, delivery and ongoing improvement of our learning and capability programs. They will implement a comprehensive review of our agency's capability framework, align that with the functionality of our Learning Management System and integrate that with our performance and development processes to drive capability in line with our new strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, delivery and ongoing improvement of our learning and capability programs.
- Maintain and implement our ACCC Capability Framework.
- Develop and implement our SES and whole of agency Performance Framework.
- Design and implement a skills taxonomy aligned to our job family framework.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading a learning and development team or similar role in a fast-paced and large complex people-centred organisation.
- Demonstrated expertise in learning and capability strategy, design, delivery and evaluation.
- Experience managing learning systems, mandatory training programs and enterprise capability frameworks.
- Strong understanding of performance frameworks and talent development models, including the 70:20:10 model and how to operationalise it in a hybrid learning environment.
