About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Linkage Projects Director to join our team at Frontline Retail Melbourne. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical and project leadership in the planning, establishment, and implementation of a Data Linkage program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders from the Tasmanian Government and the Tasmanian Data Linkage Unit to design a linked data set that integrates general practice and state-held admin data for population health and service planning.
  • Coordinate with Teams: Coordinate with the Manager of Information, Communications and Technology, Manager of Digital Transformation, and Manager of Program Strategy and Performance to understand and utilize current and evolving capabilities for data linkage, secure storage, and sharing.
  • Develop Data Linkage Solutions: Collaborate with Tasmanian Government stakeholders and national teams to develop and implement agreed-upon data linkage solutions.
  • Oversee Data Analysis: Oversee the initial analysis and reporting of the linked data set in close partnership with the Manager of Program Strategy and Performance.
  • Partner with Marketing Team: Partner with the Marketing and Communications team to create a website presence for the data linkage program and develop and execute a marketing strategy for the data linkage program.
  • Design Data Improvement Program: Work closely with the Manager of Digital Transformation to design a comprehensive data and quality improvement program for general practices, supporting Health System Improvement business areas in implementation.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Relevant qualifications in public health or a related field. Advanced degrees are highly desirable.
  • Data Linkage Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of the application of methodology and processes for data linkage, data integration, validation, as well as expert data curated support experience.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborative, highly developed communication skills - written and verbal, influence and negotiation skills.
