Program Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Program Manager for ICN Tasmania. As a key member of our Department of State Growth, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and development of Tasmania's advanced manufacturing and defence industries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and operational management for ICN Tasmania, including government stakeholder and major client engagement.
- Lead and manage the ICN team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a strong and supportive team culture across AMDI and Major Client Business Units.
- Initiate and provide high-level strategic advice to senior directors and identify, analyze, develop, and implement plans, projects, and initiatives that underpin the delivery of the ICN program in Tasmania.
- Maximize the collection and storage of Tasmanian business data, engaging with business, industry, and broader stakeholders to advance local supply chains.
- Design and deliver presentations and promotional activities to business and project proponents on the functions and advantages of ICN Tasmania.
- Prepare and contribute to a wide range of written documentation, including correspondence, board papers, submissions, ministerial briefings, reports, and plans.
- Contribute to corporate planning, policy, and procedure development for AMDI and Major Clients, including input into budget preparation and administration.
- Build and maintain a strong network with key stakeholders across ICN Tasmania and ICN National teams, and work in partnership with other State Growth business units and government tiers to ensure effective client referral.
- A current driver's license.
- Relevant tertiary or industry-recognized qualifications and/or professional affiliations.
