Job Title

We are seeking an experienced team leader to join our dynamic rostering team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating schedules, allocating resources and ensuring seamless operational performance. If you have a proven track record of planning and executing complex projects, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover vacant shifts in response to unplanned situations
  • Allocate vehicles and coordinate bus yard runouts
  • Organize schedules for vehicle and staff changeovers
  • Liaise with operations control centre to communicate updates on impacted services
  • Provide support to frontline employees during incidents and emergencies
  • Monitor operational changes and update relevant systems
  • Process weekly rosters, timesheets, and payroll according to industrial instruments
  • Report on daily operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in coordinating large teams with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and reporting software
  • Self-motivation and a positive approach to a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to adhere to and monitor compliance with safety regulations and internal policies
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and communications
  • Minimum medium rigid driver's license and relevant authority, plus a working with children check (or willingness to attain)
