Equipment Maintenance Specialist

- Maintaining all equipment within facilities, including buildings and premises.
- Troubleshooting equipment in regards to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions.
- Assisting in project work and coordinating smaller projects.
- Ordering parts.
- Managing receivables and purchase orders.
- Coordinating and supervising contractors and subcontractors for plant and equipment maintenance.
- Ensuring all records, documents, and data are retained and stored according to relevant procedures, work instructions, standards, and guidelines, including the use of maintenance software MEX.
Key Requirements:
- Trade training as a mechanical electrician or mechanical fitter, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in maintaining complex machinery (minimum 4 years), with basic knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and plastic moulding processes.
- Driving license and fork lift license.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to follow written and verbal procedures and work instructions, adhering to all safety aspects.
About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining all equipment within facilities, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting in project work. The successful candidate will have trade training as a mechanical electrician or mechanical fitter, previous experience in maintaining complex machinery, and a driving license and fork lift license.
