Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Job OverviewAs an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and readiness of our equipment fleet. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in carrying out mechanical inspections, scheduled servicing, and routine maintenance of our equipment in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks to restore equipment to optimal functioning levels.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Collaborate with team members to monitor equipment reliability and readiness for hire at branch level.
- Inspect returned equipment and report any customer damage to your supervisor to enable cost recovery.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment to promote efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A trade qualification in mechanical, hydraulic, fitter, or auto electrician.
- Knowledge of industry-standard equipment servicing, repair, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
