The Role

Key Responsibilities

As a Property Portfolio Officer, you will be responsible for the management and administration of property portfolios made available by Homes Victoria to registered housing agencies and providers.

Key Activities Include:

  • Contract Management: effectively manage and develop office processes for the full suite of portfolio management functions including contract negotiation and execution, property title interest administration, and other related contract management functions.
  • Performance Reporting: undertake performance reporting and provide timely advice on matters arising from these reports.
  • Stakeholder Management: arrange meetings and conferences, including liaison with senior executives and government officials, coordinating papers, organising venues, agendas, taking minutes, and follow-up actions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Property Management Experience within the public, private or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, with an understanding of residential lease management specifically in the residential sector.
  • Good Understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act, Victorian Government Land Policies, and the role of the Valuer Generals Office.
