About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Coach to join our team at SYC. As a Disability Employment Services Coach, you will play a critical role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market participants to employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
  • Ensure timely referral to employment opportunities, vocational training, employment activities, and non-vocational programs
  • Develop and maintain professional knowledge of and provide advice on areas including but not limited to the Disability Employment Services Contract, the local labour market, and local support services
  • Provide thorough Post Placement Support to employers and participants

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal, and written skills, and the ability to prepare and conduct effective presentations
  • Self-motivation and initiative, with well-developed organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and attend to multiple tasks and priorities
  • Interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems
  • Previous experience in Disability Employment Services Industry is desirable
  • Strong customer service experience
