
Therapeutic Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing early intervention and therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting standardised clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
- Providing information, education, and support to clients and families.
- Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
- Providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
- Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
- Supporting inclusion and participation in community activities.
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with current registration with AHPRA.
- Passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
- Ability to provide and offer knowledge of interventions to children, young people, and parents.
- Experience in providing Occupational Therapy to children with neuro diverse backgrounds.
- Compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle.
