
HR Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team in Melbourne's North. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:- PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT (MYOB): Manage payroll processes, including processing payments, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- MANAGING THE AR AND AP: Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processing.
- ASSIST AT ALL POINTS OF THE EMPLOYEE LIFE CYCLE: Provide support with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, including orientation, inductions, and exit interviews.
- UPDATING EMPLOYEE RECORDS ACROSS HR SYSTEMS AND REPORTS: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, training records, and performance management documents.
- ASSIST WITH OHS REQUIREMENTS OF THE BUSINESS: Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, including conducting risk assessments and providing guidance on workplace health and safety procedures.
- MANAGING INBOUND QUERIES RELATING TO LEAVE AND PAY: Respond to employee queries regarding leave entitlements, pay rates, and other employment-related matters.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
- Experience Working in HR: Proven experience in an HR role, preferably in a similar position.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MYOB or Xero, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible Work Arrangements: Ability to work flexible hours and manage workload effectively.
- Onsite Parking: Access to onsite parking facilities.
- Producing Reports as Required by Management: Develop and provide reports to management on HR-related matters.
- Other Ad Hoc HR/Administrative Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the HR function.
