Role Overview

As a Community Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to deliver personalized support to elderly individuals, enabling them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives through tailored care. You will provide assistance within the comfort of clients' homes, offering a valuable opportunity to foster meaningful relationships with regular clients. Collaboration with the home care team will be essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of each client's unique requirements. These requirements may encompass:

  • Personal assistance (help with dressing, bathing, and mobility)
  • Transportation services for appointments
  • Utilization of assistive devices and personal equipment

Candidate Profile

You possess a genuine passion for supporting older adults and their families, striving to enhance their daily lives. You appreciate a flexible work schedule and are capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills are essential for effective client engagement, along with a commitment to helping clients achieve their independence goals. Availability for three weekdays is required for this position.
