We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Worker to join our team at Calvary Health Care. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, enabling them to live the life they choose and exercise their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Support residents to maintain their physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs and wants, through assessment and observation.
- Assist residents with daily hygiene tasks, such as showering, shaving, dressing, and continence management.
- Contribute to the delivery of a range of personal care tasks, including mobility assistance and support with hobbies and interests.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the highest standard of care is provided to our residents.
- You will possess a Certificate Level III (Individual Support) and have experience in a similar role in aged care, health care, or hospitality.
- You will have effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to prioritize workloads.
- You will have a working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
