Housekeeping Steward Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Steward at a 5-star resort in Tropical North Queensland.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be challenged to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitise all areas of the kitchen and food venues, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
  • Polish chafing dishes for banquets, BBQ functions, and prepare carving stations as required.
  • Set-up food venues in line with standard requirements for buffets, BBQ functions, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP principles and procedures at all times.
Requirements
  • High school certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Good presentation, communication skills, and fluency in English.
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferable).
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexibly on a 7-day rotating roster.
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow HACCP principles.
