Our success is built on mutual respect, safety, and a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional results. We are now seeking a Grounds Supervisor to join our small, dedicated team and help maintain our resort's stunning greenspaces and facilities.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on role, working closely alongside our Groundskeeper and as part of the wider Botanica team. You will oversee grounds maintenance, maintain equipment, perform repairs and upkeep to the resort facilities, and ensure our outdoor spaces are meticulously maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all resort greenspaces, including gardens, lawns, streetscapes, drainage corridors, and the 'Botanica Green' parklands, to an exceptional 5-star standard.
  • Service, operate, and maintain grounds equipment such as tractors, ride-on mowers, brush cutters, and hedge trimmers to ensure peak performance.
  • Undertake repairs and general maintenance of resort facilities.
  • Complete weekly bin collection and maintenance of the pool, sauna and spa.
  • Install, maintain and repair irrigation systems.
  • Work alongside and provide guidance to the Groundskeeper to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Maintain a safe, organised and clean work environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture or landscaping.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining a range of grounds and garden equipment.
  • Experience in irrigation installation and repairs (highly regarded).
  • Ability to perform general handyman, servicing and maintenance tasks.
  • Physical capability to meet the manual outdoor requirements of this role, including bending, lifting, and carrying.
  • Strong attention to detail with a motivated, enthusiastic, and "can-do" attitude.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintain positive relationships, and treat others with respect.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Current Australian manual driver's licence.
