Clinical Leader in Mental Health Services

Key Responsibilities:
">We are seeking an experienced Staff Specialist to join our Mental Health Services Team.
">- To provide high-quality clinical, diagnostic and consultative specialty services in the Collaborative Centre for Cardiometabolic Health in Psychosis (ccCHiP).
- Participate in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the Mental Health Service as required.
- Work closely with, and under the guidance of the Director of ccCHiP while functioning as a Clinical Lead of an interdisciplinary team which includes psychiatrists, psychiatry registrars, cardiologists, endocrinologists, exercise physiologists, dietitians, a clinical nurse consultant, and oral health therapists all of whom provide care within a specialised clinic for people with severe and enduring mental illness.
- Oversee the collaboration of the psychiatric and medical treatment to improve the physical health care and physical health outcomes for people attending the service.
Requirements:
">The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.
