Behavioural Therapy Specialist Role

The Behavioural Therapy Specialist will provide high-quality, person-centred therapy to individuals with complex behavioural needs, working in diverse settings and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans with function-based strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments (FBA).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
  • Tap into the knowledge and support of your team leader and dedicated therapy mentor.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Master's or Graduate Diploma) and relevant registration.
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • A positive and flexible approach to work.
  • Strong communication skills and a strong team player mindset.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
