
Dedicated Behavioural Support Professional Wanted

The Behavioural Support Professional plays a pivotal role in delivering impactful therapy to individuals with disabilities, enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with participants and support teams in diverse settings to achieve personalised goals and optimise NDIS funding allocation.
- Develop meaningful relationships with participants, their families, carers, and friends, fostering a supportive network.
- Design and implement behaviour support plans using evidence-based strategies, incorporating positive behaviour support frameworks.
- Conduct thorough functional behaviour assessments (FBAs) and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor's, Master's, or Graduate Diploma).
- Registration as an Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker, or Mental Health Nurse, or equivalent registration status.
- Minimum 12 months' experience as a Behavioural Support Professional.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work, coupled with strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth, possessing a valid Australian driver's licence and up-to-date NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
