Occupational Therapy Teaching Associate

The Opportunity
Monash University's Department of Occupational Therapy, School of Primary and Allied Health Care, is seeking to appoint sessional teaching associates to join our team of practice educators. We are looking for keen occupational therapists to work with our undergraduate and masters entry-level occupational therapy students in various fieldwork settings.
Key Responsibilities
As a teaching associate, you will work with our students in fieldwork settings, providing them with practical experience and facilitating their learning and development. You will be responsible for providing placement-based education, working with students to develop their skills and knowledge, and supporting their professional growth.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be a registered occupational therapist with a minimum of two years of professional practice experience since graduation. Prior experience of providing occupational therapy placement-based education is desirable. You should also have professional practice experience in one or more of the specific practice areas listed above, such as aged care facilities, kindergartens, and primary schools.

You should be able to demonstrate your ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
