Occupational Therapy Teaching Associate

The Opportunity
Monash University's Department of Occupational Therapy is seeking to appoint sessional teaching associates to join our team of practice educators. We are looking for keen occupational therapists to work with our undergraduate and masters entry-level occupational therapy students in various fieldwork settings.
Key Responsibilities
As a practice educator, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy placement-based education to our students. You will work with students in a variety of fieldwork settings, including aged care facilities, kindergartens, primary schools, physical and vocational rehabilitation, telehealth practice, and community mental health programs.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you must be a registered occupational therapist with a minimum of two years of professional practice experience since graduation. Prior experience of providing occupational therapy placement-based education is desirable. You will also need to have a Working with Children Check and may require a National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check, depending on the nature of the placement sites.
