We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning Consultant to join our team at William Buck. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial planning process and be able to collaborate with senior advisors to devise and prepare comprehensive financial planning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior advisors to develop and implement financial planning strategies
  • Attend client meetings to understand their needs and provide expert advice
  • Create accurate financial models to inform decision-making
  • Support the management of client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Prepare high-quality advice documents as required
  • Liaise with fund managers and third-party providers to deliver optimal outcomes

About You:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a paraplanning or similar role within a professional services environment
  • Strong knowledge of the financial planning process and industry regulations
  • Experience in preparing Statements of Advice (SOA) and Retirement Options Analysis (ROA)
  • Proficiency in XPlan financial planning software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workflow, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
