About the Role

We seek a detail-oriented analyst to join our team in Australia.

This role involves monitoring financial transactions by clients in the Asia Pacific region, communicating with clients, and reviewing systems for improvements.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, good communication skills, and experience with anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) rules and exchange enquiries.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze financial transactions by clients in the Asia Pacific region
  • Communicate with clients on surveillance-related matters
  • Review and improve existing systems and reports
  • Manage projects to implement approved enhancements due to regulatory changes
  • Stay up-to-date with market conduct, AML, and other related regulations
  • Stay informed about APAC and international developments in relevant areas of regulations and law
Requirements
  • Familiarity with AML/CTF Rules
  • Experience with exchange and regulatory enquiries
  • Good communication and client service skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid academic background and relevant qualifications
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence/machine learning is advantageous
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments
