Data Center IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Center IT Support Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Data Center Operations team, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting the IT infrastructure that supports the AWS cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure racks of hosts in line with internal SLAs
- Diagnose and repair issues for server, storage, and network devices, including the physical replacement of parts
- Remediation or recovery of physical power issues on racks and participate in Data Center power & cooling events
- Shift work (4 days on and 4 days off including night shifts on a rotational basis)
- This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle to travel between sites

Basic Qualifications
2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
1+ years of computer networking experience
High school or equivalent diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
