Key Responsibilities

The successful Payroll and HR Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation's payroll and HR functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract preparation.
  • Handle payroll queries and provide support to employees regarding entitlements.
  • Collaborate with HR to update policies and procedures as needed.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with superannuation, taxation and award requirements.
  • Support the HR team with administrative tasks and projects.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in a range of payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and awards.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
