Seeking a Senior Claims Professional to join our team at Kennedy Reid in Sydney, Australia.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity for an experienced claims professional with a background in Medical Negligence, Medical Malpractice, Complex Liability, Professional Indemnity, Health or Travel claims to work within our well-established team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience handling complex and contentious claims and be able to provide support and advice to policy holders, key claimants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Managing an end-to-end specialty claims portfolio within a delegated authority limit.
- Gathering evidence and determining liability on complex and contentious claims.
- Providing support and advice to policy holders, key claimants and stakeholders.
- Liaising with stakeholders, including doctors, nurses, lawyers, litigation specialists and claimants.
- Minimum 2 years' experience handling Medical Negligence, Medical Malpractice, Professional Indemnity, Liability, Health or Travel claims.
- Ability to prioritize and work to deadlines.
- Understanding of operational processes and procedures required in team environments.
- Experience in managing claims and stakeholders effectively.
- A team-centric approach to work.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Great communication skills.
