Job Overview

The Director of Institutional Client Coverage will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive relationship management to our Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) clients.

  • Cultivate and own relationships with client Treasury and Senior Executives to deliver capital, transactional and risk management solutions that drive business growth.
  • Develop expertise in the sector and provide unique insights into market and industry conditions to identify and originate viable transactions that meet client needs.
  • Lead and coordinate with internal business partners within the bank to review and sign off on credit submissions and documentation on deals that align with our business strategy.
  • Identify and actively manage the full spectrum of risks associated with the origination and ongoing management of clients to ensure their financial stability and success.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex credit proposals on structured transactions and prepare exceptional client presentations that showcase our capabilities and expertise.
  • Support the development of new innovative product ideas in conjunction with internal and external advisers to stay ahead of the market and meet client demands.
  • Provide leadership and development to junior bankers to help them grow and succeed in their roles.
  • Engage and build credibility and strong client relationships, leveraging internal relationships to deliver against revenue and client satisfaction targets.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Familiarity across product capabilities including corporate finance, debt capital markets, global markets and risk management.
  • Demonstrable credit risk, analytical and presentation skills necessary to build and deliver complex credit proposals that meet client requirements.
  • A strong academic background with tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Engineering, Finance or Law.
