About Our Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in developing strong relationships with our customers. Based in Quilpie, QLD, you will report to the Branch Manager and focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences while performing general administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a memorable experience for all customers
  • Perform general administrative tasks including stock control, checking for accurate receival and dispatch of goods
  • Assist customers with pricing and product queries
  • Process counter sales
  • Maintain safety processes
  • Maintain a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment

You'll also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. You'll work effectively within a team environment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

What We're Looking For:
  • Customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • A passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise
  • Driver's license is required and a forklift ticket is advantageous
  • Experience working within a sales environment
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Problem-solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
