Job Description

Rural Products Sales Representative

Elders is a family-backed organisation with a culture of passion, dedication and resilience.

The successful candidate will form part of a close-knit team providing expert advice to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate product knowledge and deliver exceptional customer service in-store, on farm and over the phone.
  • Ensure the Rural Products store maintains a well-organised and tidy appearance.
  • Manage stock levels accurately and ensure up-to-date inventory records are maintained.
  • Accurately quote and process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and invoicing.
  • Coordinate and assist with the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in agricultural products.
  • Understanding of agricultural seasonal fluctuations, products and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft suite and operating POS systems.
  • Current driver's license, forklift license and Agsafe accreditation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-level customer service.
