Job Title: Operations Support Lead

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving business success and growth, working closely with the Site Leader to provide operational support across all aspects of site management.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, customer interactions, and facility maintenance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication, issue resolution, and tailored solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and their pets, meeting individual needs and providing a comfortable stay.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through effective leadership, clear expectations, and outstanding service delivery.
  • Cover site operations in the absence of the Site Leader, addressing issues, making informed decisions, and maintaining daily operations.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to showcase the facility, engage customers, and drive new bookings.
  • Support staff training and development, identifying areas for improvement, providing feedback, and offering ongoing learning opportunities.
  • Identify and address maintenance, repair, or inventory requirements to ensure a resourced, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Be flexible to work during peak periods, including weekends and scheduling leave outside busy times.
  • Address animal health concerns, maintaining a working knowledge of common health issues to meet pet health needs.

Requirements:

  • Available for an unpaid work trial shift.
  • Prior experience in animal care is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams are required.
  • Previous experience in site operations management is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service experience, and problem-solving ability are essential.
  • Strong time management skills, initiative, and a willingness to learn and adapt are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain composure under pressure, and be proficient in computer systems.
