Research Associate: Housing Policy and Economic Development

You will contribute to the research efforts of UniSA Business, working in conjunction with specific grants and in relation to supporting a range of research projects and related support activities.

Key Responsibilities- Contribute to producing high-quality research, grant projects, and scholarly activity.
- Manage and analyse data to support research projects through conducting literature searches and reviews, and write up initial drafts to a high standard of scientific language.
- Assist in data collection efforts, including data processing, cleaning, transformation, analysis and GIS mapping.
- Provide support and assistance in writing research, project, and grant reports and presentations for academe and industry and assist with grant management activities including basic administration.
- Create, foster and enhance national and international links with relevant industry, business, university and community bodies that support the advancement of the University.
- A relevant doctoral degree/studies with relevant research experience, ideally in applied economics, housing economics or property market economics.
- High-level oral and written communication and liaison skills, with the ability to present information effectively and clearly to a wide audience.
- Capacity to identify and conduct high-quality research, evidenced through report writing, research design, ability to search and summarise large bodies of literature, data management, data analysis and submission of articles.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including an ability to lead and work within a diverse team.
- Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative data collection methods including focus groups and semi-structured interviews.

Our salary package includes an estimated $120,000 - $140,000 per year, plus generous superannuation contributions of 17% and flexible working conditions.
