Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Housing Research Specialist to contribute to our research efforts, working in conjunction with specific grants and in relation to supporting a range of research projects and related support activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied economics, housing economics or property market economics, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to producing high-quality research, grant projects, and scholarly activity.
- Manage and analyse data to support research projects through conducting literature searches and reviews, and write up initial drafts to a high standard of scientific language.
- Assist in data collection efforts, including data processing, cleaning, transformation, analysis, and GIS mapping.
- Provide support and assistance in writing research, project, and grant reports and presentations for academe and industry, and assist with grant management activities including basic administration.
- A relevant doctoral degree/studies with relevant research experience, ideally in applied economics, housing economics, or property market economics.
- High-level oral and written communication and liaison skills, with the ability to present information effectively and clearly to a wide audience.
- Capacity to identify and conduct high-quality research, evidenced through report writing, research design, ability to search and summarise large bodies of literature, data management, data analysis, and submission of articles.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including an ability to lead and work within a diverse team.

SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
