Research and Policy Analyst

Core Responsibilities- Contribute to producing high-quality research and grant projects.
- Manage and analyse data to support research projects through conducting literature searches and reviews, and writing up initial drafts to a high standard of scientific language.
- Assist in data collection efforts, including data processing, cleaning, transformation, analysis, and GIS mapping.
- Provide support and assistance in writing research, project, and grant reports and presentations for academe and industry, and assist with grant management activities.
- Create, foster, and enhance national and international links with relevant industry, business, university, and community bodies that support the advancement of the University.
- Rlevant doctoral degree or studies with relevant research experience, ideally in applied economics, housing economics, or property market economics.
- High-level oral and written communication and liaison skills, with the ability to present information effectively and clearly to a wide audience.
- Capacity to identify and conduct high-quality research, evidenced through report writing, research design, ability to search and summarise large bodies of literature, data management, data analysis, and submission of articles.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including an ability to lead and work within a diverse team.
- Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative data collection methods, including focus groups and semi-structured interviews.
- Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
