About the Role

As an Economic Research Analyst, you will contribute to UniSA Business's research efforts in conjunction with grants and projects. Your primary focus will be on supporting research activities, including data management, analysis, and writing high-quality reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to producing high-quality research and grant projects.
  • Manage and analyze data, conduct literature searches, and write initial drafts to a high standard of scientific language.
  • Assist in data collection efforts, including data processing, cleaning, transformation, analysis, and GIS mapping.
  • Support research, project, and grant report writing and presentations for academe and industry.
  • Create national and international links with relevant industry, business, university, and community bodies that support the advancement of the University.

Essential Skills and Experience
  • A relevant doctoral degree or studies with research experience, preferably in applied economics, housing economics, or property market economics.
  • High-level oral and written communication skills, enabling effective presentation to diverse audiences.
  • The capacity to identify and conduct high-quality research, evidenced through report writing, research design, and ability to search and summarize large bodies of literature.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including leading and working within diverse teams.
  • Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative data collection methods, including focus groups and semi-structured interviews.

Salary Range: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).
